These designations allow to her to diagnose and treat medical conditions of the eye (glaucoma, diabetic eye disease, foreign object removal, and more)Ā with pharmaceuticals, including both eye drops and oral medications.

Orthokeratologist
As an orthokeratologist, Dr. Januskey uses contact lenses to reshape the cornea so that patients can be free from glasses and contacts during the day without undergoing surgery.Ā
Professional and Educational Bio
Dr. Januskey graduated Summa Cum Laude with University Honors from Texas A&M University with a Bachelors of Science in Genetics in 2002. She received her Doctor of Optometry from the University of Houston College of Optometry and graduated Summa Cum Laude in 2006. She has received an additionalĀ 100 hours of post-graduate education in vision therapy, binocular vision and accommodativeĀ disorders,Ā amblyopia and strabismus, and post brain injury vision rehabilitation.Ā Her professional interests are in primary care, binocular vision disorders (includingĀ double vision, amblyopia, and strabismus),Ā orthokeratology, pediatric optometry,Ā sports vision, and vision therapy.
Personal Bio
Dr. Januskey married her college sweetheart John Januskey.Ā Together, they started Precision Eye Care in 2007 with the goal of helping members of their community reach their full potential.Ā They have five children Audrey, Joey, twins Brandon and Bradley, and Jake.Ā They are parishioners at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Bryan.Ā In her (limited) spare time, she enjoys spending time outdoors with her family, reading science and military fiction, attending OPAS productions and Aggie football games, and continuing to learn (she’s a big nerd).
